Greece allows Russians to enter: permission to visit the country is extended until June 7
Greece has extended until June 7 the entry permit for Russian tourists with a vaccination, test or certificate of antibodies.
The ban on entry into Greece does not apply to citizens of European Union (EU) and Schengen countries, including their spouses and minor children, and to passengers arriving from 22 countries, including Russia.
Russia announced the resumption of regular flights with Greece in February 2021. Now it is allowed to operate two regular flights on the route Moscow – Athens on a reciprocal basis.
On May 28, the Greek ambassador to Russia said that flights in full between the countries could be launched from day to day, as the parties have made far progress in resolving the issue.
Greece has lifted all restrictions for foreign tourists, including Russians, the tourist season began on May 14.
