The Art Gallery of the State of New South Wales in Sydney constantly organizes exhibitions of works of art imported from other countries.
Until December 5, 2010 you can visit the exhibition “From David to Cezanne”, which exhibits about a hundred beautiful drawings of outstanding French artists of the nineteenth century (David, Ingras, Delacroix, Millet, Manet, Degas, Redon, Seurat and Cezanne). They are brought from Paris, where they are stored in the richest private collection of L. A. Prat, which contains drawings of the great French masters who worked in the XVII-XIX centuries.
And from December 4, 2010 to March 13, 2011 in the Gallery you can get acquainted with the wonderful exposition “Burried Warriors of the First Emperor of China”. The greatest archaeological and cultural discovery of the twentieth century was the discovery of a huge terracotta army (8,000 warriors, 150 horsemen and 130 chariots with horses) guarding the tomb of the First Emperor of the United China, Qin Shi Huang, who died in 210 BC. Australia will bring 100 exhibits from China, including 20 figures of warriors, as well as horses, a chariot and other objects. The exhibition will be accompanied by lectures and film demonstrations.
