Signatures are being collected for the punishment of fans who insulted the Russian woman
On the site change.org posted a petition, it has a proposal to prosecute football fans from Brazil, publicly insulted the Russian woman. The application received more than 40,000 signatures.
The reason for the complaint is a video shared on social media showing Brazilians surrounding a Russian woman and chanting insults in Portuguese. It is noticeable that the girl does not understand the words, but tries to repeat them.
The author of the petition Alena Popova intends to send it to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow, she demands to punish foreigners “for humiliating the honor and dignity of the girl and all women of Russia”, because the participants of the story repeatedly say the word “Russian”, as well as for sexism, disrespect for the laws of the Russian Federation, citizens of our country and insults. According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, fans can be fined from 1 to 3 thousand rubles. or detained for 15 days.
However, some fans have already been punished. Felipe Wilson, an employee of LATAM Airlines Brasil, was fired from his job. Another young man, military police lieutenant Eduardo Nunis, will be subject to a disciplinary review. One of the hooligans published in social networks a video in which he apologizes to all the women of the Earth.
Earlier, there was information about the punishment for a fan of the Argentine national team, who taught the Russian woman to swear in an unfamiliar Spanish language. This incident also hit the Internet. By order of the Argentine authorities, as a punishment, the fan will not be able to attend the remaining games of the World Cup.
In the tourism industry, these stories were evaluated differently. Some experts agree with the author of the complaint, while others believe that by analogy with brochures for tourists, it is necessary to publish memos for Russians on communication with foreigners. It should be noted that you should not enter into a conversation if the foreign language is not clear.
