On December 7-9, one of the brightest events in the Ural region in the field of maternal and child health - the project "Child and Mother" will be held in Yekaterinburg. ECATERINBURG 2010, which will bring together a scientific conference on obstetrics, gynecology, perinatology, neonatology, pediatrics and a business exhibition.
The key event of the event will be the Final Jubilee Scientific Session of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Ural State Medical Academy of Roszdrav and the Research Institute of OMM of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of UGMA: “Successful reproduction: the path from doctor to patient” and “Modern opportunities of perinatology and pediatrics”. The session includes plenary sessions, symposia and round tables on the most pressing issues of motherhood and childhood. As part of the scientific program, more than 150 leading specialists from the Ural region and Russia will be presented. Specialists will discuss topical issues of innovative technologies in perinatal science, the application of new approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of major female diseases, contraception and many other pressing problems. All three days will be a specialized exhibition. “Child and mother. Yekaterinburg 2010" - exposition of domestic and foreign manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceuticals, medical and diagnostic equipment, medical devices, hygiene products and goods for pregnant, lactating women, newborns, baby food, as well as leading medical centers and maternity hospitals of Yekaterinburg. The organizers of the event are: the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk region, the Health Department of the Administration of Yekaterinburg, FSU "Ural Research Institute of OMM" of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia, FPC GOU HPO "Ural State Medical Academy of Roszdrav" company RTE-Group. Official support for the event was provided by the Russian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Union of Pediatricians of Russia. Thanks to their active participation and support in the organization of the exhibition and conference, leading specialists in the field of obstetrics, gynecology, perinatology, neonatology and pediatrics are sent to the event. Specialized certificates will be issued as part of the system of continuous professional development.

In 2009, the I Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of the Urals with international participation "High-tech types of medical care in the service of maternal and child health" was held. The Congress was attended by over 1,500 specialists, among whom were representatives of foreign countries such as Ukraine, Belarus, the United States. Scientific theses were presented by 300 speakers, among whom were leading experts in the field of obstetrics. More than 70 companies took part in the exhibition - world-famous brands, leaders of the domestic and foreign pharmaceutical industry, leading world developers, manufacturers and suppliers of medical devices and equipment.
