Thailand's immigration bureau reveals who to fear

Despite the recent incident at a Phuket bar in which Russian tourists beat up a Canadian citizen, the Russian mafia is not considered the most dangerous in Thailand. According to the Immigration Bureau of Thailand, most of the thieves come to the country from Latin America – Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Guatemala. African gangsters are in second place in terms of danger, while criminals from Iran and Iraq are in third place – the latter are involved in the drug trade and supply methamphetamine from Afghanistan.

The fourth risk group is South Asians, who are most often convicted of forging documents and passports. The fifth place is occupied by Chinese, Taiwanese and Hong Kong citizens who participate in phone scams. The racket of entrepreneurs in Thailand are engaged in criminals from Japan and South Korea, in addition, they are thinking of buying Thai women for prostitution.

Representatives of Russia are in seventh place in the criminal rating, they are also accused of pimping, but for the sale of drugs, the Russians were practically not noticed.

In the eighth place were criminals from Malaysia and Singapore, and in the ninth place – from Turkey: both of them are engaged in fraud with bank cards.

Last, tenth place was shared by Filipinos, Indonesians and Vietnamese – they are active participants in the market of gambling and investment fraud.
