India abolishes quarantine for vaccinated Russians

India has allowed entry for COVID-19-vaccinated tourists from 99 countries, including Russia, without having to comply with a two-week quarantine.

The list includes Belarus, Great Britain, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, USA, Ukraine and France.

This category includes countries that use vaccines recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and countries with which India has agreements on the recognition of vaccination certificates.

Russian Sputnik V is a vaccine approved for use in India.

Before departing for India, foreign tourists arriving from listed countries must upload a vaccination certificate to the official website of New Delhi International Airport, as well as the results of a PCR test for coronavirus taken no more than 72 hours before entering the country. Instead of quarantine, foreign tourists are advised to independently monitor their health two weeks after arrival.
