India invites tourists to Bollywood

Ramoji Film City – one of the world’s largest film studios – is waiting for tourists on excursions. It is located in the Indian city of Hyderabad.

Here on the territory of about 6 square kilometers there are more than 500 film sets and many stationary scenery. And from special sites you can witness the filming process.

The film studio, which shoots more than 600 films annually, opened in 1996, but tourists have been allowed here recently. Ramoji Film City is visited by over 2,000 people every day. There are amusement parks and restaurants for them. The cost of a day tour to the studio is $11.5 for adults and about $10 for children from 3 to 17 years old.
