Indonesia simplifies entry rules
Indonesian authorities have decided to reduce the mandatory quarantine for arriving foreigners, and introduced other exemptions. Vaccinated Russians with a business visa can take advantage of the innovation.
The government has reduced the mandatory quarantine period for fully vaccinated tourists from 5 to 3 days (3 nights).
It was also decided to allow entry to foreigners vaccinated only with the first dose of the two-component vaccine. However, there will be a 5-day quarantine. The rule also applies to those vaccinated with the first component of Satellite V. Indonesia accepts only one Russian vaccine, Sputnik V.
Vaccinated “Sputnik V” Russians with a business visa, as before, will have to be quarantined in the capital Jakarta. They will not be able to fly directly to Bali on flights from the allowed countries yet, the tourist office of Indonesia in Russia reminded.
To enter Indonesia, Russians need to do a PCR test 72 hours before the trip, then upon arrival and another test on the third day of quarantine. You must also have a vaccination certificate, an international health insurance policy with coverage of at least $100,000, which includes treatment for coronavirus, as well as a voucher for staying in a quarantine hotel.
For tourist purposes, Russians will not be able to come to Indonesia for a business visit.
