Iceland is waiting for its tourists!

The eruption of Eyjafjallajökutl volcano is over, but Iceland continues to attract global media. Various TV channels and print publications send their correspondents to the country to see and tell the world how the population of the surrounding areas lives and how the nature of Iceland has changed after the eruption. Russia is no exception - over the past month representatives of Ren-TV, TV-Center and Channel 1 TV channels visited Iceland. With the assistance of the local Russian-language tour operator TrueIceland, meetings were organized for these channels with the President, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, leading volcanologists, owners of the tourist business and local residents of the country. There are frightening articles about the upcoming eruption of Katla, a more powerful volcano located next door to Eyjafjallajokutl, but local scientists disagree with these statements. According to the leading Icelandic volcanologist Aurman Hoskuldsson, Katla has erupted 20 times in historical time, and Eyjafjallajokutl only three times, so the fact that it must necessarily wake up after the completed eruption is completely unfounded. Life is getting better in the country after the eruption, the hotels of the country are filled with tourists, who are becoming more and more every day. Local travel agencies are developing new routes that allow you to see the space landscapes of this unusually beautiful country that have just appeared as a result of the volcano.
