Spain opens to all foreign tourists

The Spanish authorities decided to open the country to all tourists, including Russians, if there is a PCR test for the coronavirus.

From May 21, non-EU nationals who enter Spain by sea or air can only present a PCR or antigen test on arrival at least 72 and 24 hours prior to travel, respectively.

Alternatively, a vaccination certificate approved by the Spanish Ministry of Health or a certificate of transferred COVID-19 for 180 days can be used. Children under 12 years of age do not require a certificate.

Spain has not recognized Russian vaccines.

Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Maria Reyes Maroto said that the demand for travel to the country is close to pre-pandemic times.

Russia currently has no direct flights to Spain. You can get to Spain with at least one transfer in Belgrade or Istanbul.
