Italy opens shelters for divorced men

The Russian newspaper reports that in Italy Shelters are often opened for divorced men.

The reason is the special relationship of former spouses who practice in the country. For example, in divorce, a man, despite often equal shares in property, leaves all his property to his wife and children - this is how 60% of men do.

94% of ex-husbands pay alimony, not only for the child, but also for the ex-wife. As a result, men are left without means of subsistence: many wander for friends or spend the night in cars.

Shelters for divorced men are opening across the country, from Milan to Bari. Most often they are organized by volunteers or Christian organizations. Men can live under the state roof for a maximum of a year - during this time they need to find a permanent job and housing.
