Italian Chapel Sommariva opened after years of restoration

The Oratorio Sommariva in Italy is ready to receive guests from July 2. It has been restored for several decades. The cultural monument is located in the famous Villa Carlotta complex in Tremezzo, a "pearl" of the XIX century, located on Lake Como.

Guests of Villa Carlotta can today observe the Chapel, which was the result of the reconstruction of the chapel of St. Francis Xavier, which existed earlier, thanks to the project of Giacomo Moraglia. Restorers from the Academy of Fine Arts did the job with funding from the Diocese of Como, which owns the Chapel.
