From which countries do travelers come to Russia?
From January to September 2019, 25.7 million foreigners visited Russia, 4.3 million had tourist purposes (20.5% higher than the same indicator in 2018).

In the first three quarters of 2019, 25,704,324 foreigners entered the Russian Federation, which is 0.75% (191.4 thousand) more than at the same time in 2018.

The top 10 main suppliers of tourists to Russia include Italy (135 thousand, + 26.7%), France (129.5 thousand, + 36.5%), Great Britain (120 thousand, + 5.2%), Spain (103 thousand, + 32.5%), Japan (67.4 thousand, + 33%).
Travelers from Asia come to Russia, the tourist flow from China, South Korea, Japan, India, Thailand (43.2 thousand, +23%), Hong Kong (19.3 thousand, +4%), Vietnam (17 thousand, +60%), Indonesia (13.1 thousand, +75%), Taiwan (12.7 thousand, +32%) is growing.
The growth rate of tourist flow from Middle Eastern countries reaches three-digit values - from Iran increased by 35.3% (to 25.8 thousand tourists), from the UAE - by 819.2% (to 17.9 thousand), from Saudi Arabia - by 69% (to 3.7 thousand), from Qatar - by 193.2% (to 2.1 thousand), from Oman - by 180% (to 1.4 thousand).
Tour operators confirm the growth of inbound tourist flow in 2019 at the level of 20-30% (depending on the direction). In the high summer season, growth in some areas reached 40%.
