Alcoholic beverages may disappear from Duty Free stores
According to the newspaper “Kommersant”, the requirements that Rosalkogolregulation imposes are impossible for warehouses located on the territory of regime facilities – air and sea ports.
According to the new rules, the warehouse should be isolated from service, utility and other premises by capital walls or temporary partitions from floor to ceiling.
The Association of Duty Free Operators notes that the Duty free operator has no right to make such redevelopment under the threat of not only termination of the lease agreement, but also criminal prosecution.
Market participants have already appealed to the Federal Antimonopoly Service with a statement of problems in obtaining a license for storing alcoholic beverages.
