Israel eases anti-cove measures
Following European countries, Israel announced the easing of anticove measures. The green passport will be canceled, and vaccinated tourists will be allowed to enter with unvaccinated children under 12 years of age, probably in March.
From March 1, the GreenPass vaccine pass for public visits will be canceled. “Green passport” will not have to issue Russians, and this will make their stay in Israel more comfortable.
Discussions are also made on entry. For now, it is mainly for Israeli citizens (cancellation of quarantine and on-arrival tests). However, there will be a relaxation that will allow vaccinated Russians to go to Israel with children under 12 years old.
Unvaccinated children of this age will be admitted if accompanied by vaccinated parents. Upon entering Israel, children under 12 years of age, as well as adults, will take the test, and before receiving its results they must go to isolation.
As for children older than 12 years who do not have the vaccine, their entry will be closed.
A decision date has not yet been set, but it is possible that families with unvaccinated children will be able to enter Israel as early as March.
Entry to Israel for Russians vaccinated with Sputnik V and revaccinated with Sputnik Light is allowed from January 9, 2022.
