Bali volcano eruption: airport closed until November 29

According to Rosturizm, about 300 travelers from Russia are currently on the island of Bali, where the eruption of the Agung volcano began and is still happening this weekend.

Now the airport of the resort island is closed, and travelers are transported to nearby islands by ferries. As a result of the eruption, there were no casualties. In total, there are currently about 60 thousand tourists from different countries in Bali.
The decision to open the airport will be made depending on flight conditions. The airport on the neighboring island of Lambok has been operating normally all this time.

On the night of November 26-27, 2017, the erupting volcano received the highest level of danger. Residents within a 10-kilometer radius are being evacuated by local authorities.
