Tour operators can start selling tours to Egypt when opening flights through Cairo, the most “uncomfortable” trips with a bus transfer will cost quite lifting – from 35 thousand rubles. This information was provided by ATOR Executive Director Maya Lomidze. If there is delivery on charter aircraft, the cost of tours will be higher.
“In the case of taking tourists to the resorts by bus, the transfer will take six to seven hours. However, such a tour will cost less than with domestic flights - according to a very preliminary estimate, 35-40 thousand rubles per person, for a week in the hotel "three stars" on the all-inclusive system, said Lomidze. In the case when travelers choose an additional charter flight to the resorts of the Red Sea, this adds to the cost of at least 12 thousand rubles, so the price of the trip will start from 50 thousand rubles.
“Such tours can appear on sale after the New Year holidays, in order to generally raise the demand for rest among Russians in January-February 2018,” Maya Lomidze emphasized, and noted that before the closure of Egypt, the average price of such tours was 29-32 thousand rubles per person. If everything happens this way, then tours will increase in price, but the most budget options will still increase the price is not very noticeable.
