Cafe "Elyseevo bakeries" on Pestel 19
On Pestel Street (St. Petersburg), in house 19, recently opened a cafe "Elyseevo bakery". This cozy cafe is already beginning to be popular among St. Petersburgers. The cafe does not leave anyone indifferent who has ever visited it.
What's so special about these bakeries? The area of the cafe reflects all the romance and charm of St. Petersburg as best as possible: Pestel Street, located near Fontanka and the Summer Garden, is filled with the freshness and charm of the northern city, the Transfiguration Cathedral and the Panteleimon Church saturate the pale yellow range of street houses with bright fireworks of flowers. The proximity to Nevsky and Liteiny Prospects makes the cafe easily accessible. At the same time, some distance from the main highways of the city gives a feeling of detachment and comfort.
The interior of the two halls of the “Elyseevo bakeries” is made in the style of French cafes of the turn of the 19-20 centuries. The first hall is an oblong room, there are two cash registers and a buffet with a large selection of confectionery products from ruddy rye baguette to air “count ruins”. The second room is to the left of the entrance. This is a cozy bright room with six tables and a couple of stilages with books in Russian, French, English and German. Waiting for the order made in the buffet, you can enjoy pleasant reading and wonderfully selected music, quietly playing in the cafe. Basically, these are French popular songs performed by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour and other favorite Russian singers. Cafe "Elyseevo Bakery" is not just a cozy cafe in the city center, it is a part of Paris in Northern Venice, this is a place to which again and again you want to return, only once visiting it.
