How will vacation prices change in the summer of 2022?
Summer tours in Russia can rise in price due to the increase in the cost of accommodation in hotels and the increase in prices for transport services up to 30%.
Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze on the sidelines of the International Tourism Exhibition MITT-2022 said that hoteliers announced an increase in summer prices by 10-30 percent.
This growth will be certain because they have a large share of imports, and as long as the supply chains are restored, prices will rise.
Transportation will also increase the price, but it is unknown how much. “At the moment, the price has not risen. The increase mentioned is for the season.”
