How to save on air tickets for the New Year?
If you have plans for the New Year holidays to go on a trip, Aviasales experts recommend buying plane tickets now. In October, prices will increase by about a third.
Aviasales analyzed the cost of flights in the New Year holidays and sales statistics. It turned out that in September 2017, tickets in Russia could be bought by 6%, and abroad by 30% cheaper than in December. This is likely to happen again this year.
On tickets to the “ski” Sochi and Munich you can save at least 20%. In September, tickets for the New Year cost 6,500 rubles and 9,500 rubles, respectively, but from October prices will increase.
As for hot countries, buying tickets in September to Sri Lanka, Goa, the Canaries and Thailand will save up to 30%. For example, a flight from Moscow to Tenerife will now cost 31,500 rubles, and by December the price of the same ticket will be 41,000 rubles.
Experts call only one direction, which is less subject to price fluctuations in the winter – is the Crimea. According to Aviasales, you can buy budget tickets for holiday dates in December. For example, in 2017, the average check is 6,265 rubles, and almost did not change. Currently, tickets from Moscow to Simferopol will cost from 7,000 rubles back and forth.
