How are country hotels in demand in 2021?
Vice-President of the Russian Hotel Association Alexei Musakin said that the loading of hotels located within a radius of 200 km from major Russian cities in the summer of 2021 increased by 10% compared to 2020 and reached 90%.
An interesting trend of 2020 is that the popularity of trips in your region or in the nearest regions, the so-called "200 km tourism", has increased. A significant share in it began to take autotourism. A survey of services Work and SberAuto showed that 67% of families with cars intend to use it as a vehicle for a vacation.
Musakin stressed that such a holiday will save money and time, as 35-40% of the cost of any tour falls on transportation costs, and rest for car travelers can start after two to three hours on the road.
According to the expert, these reasons helped country hotels to successfully conduct the 2020 season, despite the coronavirus pandemic and restrictive measures.
