Which Crimean resorts do Russians like?
The southern coast of Crimea has become the most popular recreation area among tourists who have already decided on their preferences when choosing a peninsula for vacation.
This was announced on April 25 by the Minister of resorts and tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Ganziy.
“More than 50% of visitors come to this part of the peninsula. In second place is the West Coast (25%), followed by the East (15%). The central regions of the peninsula – Bakhchisarai and Simferopol – are also in demand, the minister added.
He noted that tourists began booking summer holidays in Crimea in October last year, which indicates an increase in the depth of booking. This was made possible by increasing the period of booking railway tickets to 90 days and promotions for early booking in hotels of the peninsula.
