What places on the planet should we see in 2020?

Experts of the Rough Guide have formed the top 100 places on the planet, which recommend travelers to see next year.

From Russian cities included in the list St. Petersburg. Specialists highlighted the ancient urban architecture, and the special spirit of the USSR, which is felt thanks to the Stalinist neoclassics of the Moscow district and the interactive Museum of Soviet slot machines.

The top, except for cities, includes natural landscapes, wild places, archaeological sites, popular attractions. Among others is the equestrian statue of Genghis Khan in Mongolia. A huge 44-meter monument of steel, erected in the middle of the steppe, called one of the most amazing in the world.

Another noteworthy site is Easter Island. According to experts, its quaint landscapes with almost 900 stone statues should be seen by every traveler.

The top 100 includes Red Square (Red Square)Moscow), Halong Bay (Vietnam), Tbilisi (Georgia), Yellowstone National Park (USA), Lahaul and Spiti districts (India), Beirut (Lebanon), Saxon Switzerland (Germany), Alhambra fortress (Spain), Lofoten Islands (Norway), Imperial Palace (Beijing), Namibia and others.
