What fellow travelers no one likes: the revelations of tourists

Tourist service Momondo conducted a study of representatives from 26 countries, it was attended by 26 thousand people.

Residents of Russia (41%) lead in the number of complaints about unkempt fellow travelers, the second place in the ranking was taken by residents of India (26%). This is the least worrying factor for Japanese residents (9%).

The second place of unpleasant traits in fellow travelers is ingratitude. Four out of ten (37%) of Russian tourists surveyed are offended that their work on organizing a trip does not receive deserved praise, and when plans are violated, discontent comes from everywhere.

In third place among the people with whom Russians do not want to travel, are irresponsible tourists, because of which you need to adjust the route. 35% of Russians do not want to travel with them.

More than a quarter of tourists (26%) are dissatisfied when disputes begin among luxury lovers and those who want to save. 12% of respondents hate making sure everyone pays their share of expenses on time, and the same number do not like to resolve disputes between “owls” and “larks” about the time of rise. 11% of people object when they have to force others to perform “household” errands, divided into all: drive a car, wash dishes, book a table in a restaurant, etc.

Respondents' responses depend on their gender and age. “For example, while men were the most likely to complain of untidy companions (42%), women said they were more upset than anything else by the ingratitude of the participants (40%).” Fewer women than men are annoyed by the need to remind others of their obligations.”

Young people (18-22 years old) are often (38 percent) frustrated when they need to travel with unreliable friends changing plans. Only 36% of respondents of this age are concerned about “dirty”.

Requirements for accuracy of fellow travelers will increase with age. “Respondents aged 36 to 55 cited uncleanliness as a distasteful factor in 42% of cases. And among those who are even older, this response occurs more often than once (54%). The same relationship can be traced in the question of ingratitude on the part of friends, as well as in disputes between owls and larks. The older a person is, the more likely they are to be annoyed by such situations, analysts say.
