What mechanism has Rosaviatsiya developed for the export of Russians from countries with coronavirus?
Rosaviatsia and Russian airlines have developed a mechanism for transporting Russians from countries that are problematic in terms of the spread of the coronavirus in the next three days.
Due to the lack of direct air links to Morocco, the issue of evacuation requires special measures.
The Rosaviatsiya working group discussed a list of 30 countries where prompt measures are needed to deliver Russians. Seven countries have been identified where the situation is now difficult: Hungary, Morocco, Spain, Montenegro, Moldova, Malta, Portugal.
Together with representatives of Russian airlines, a mechanism has been developed for the transportation of passengers from these countries in the next three days, including the procedure for interaction between Rosaviatsia, foreign missions of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rosturizm, and domestic airlines.
In the next three days, transportation from Spain (three flights of Aeroflot, Siberia, Ural Airlines), Montenegro (three flights of Siberia and Victory), Portugal (four flights of Aeroflot), two flights to Chisinau will be performed by Aeroflot.
Alexander Neradko, First Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, the head of Rosaviatsiya appealed to the Russian Foreign Ministry with a request to update information on the number of Russians who need transportation.
