Kamchatka: it is planned to create two tourist clusters
The Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov in an interview with RIA Novosti at the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF) said that the reserve core is trying to preserve and reduce the anthropogenic load.
On its territory, neither runways nor residential infrastructure are being developed.
One tourist cluster will be called “Geysers and volcanoes of Kamchatka”, which will include the Valley of Geysers and the Klyuchevskaya group of volcanoes. The same principle, according to the governor, is being implemented in relation to the Kuril Lake in the south.
The road route to the center of Kamchatka together with a short flight to the reserve will be an alternative to expensive helicopter flights.
“Not an hour in the air, but 20 minutes by helicopter to the Uzon caldera or the Valley of Geysers. Then there is an opportunity to fly to the ocean shore and leave by ship to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Solodov explained.
The governor is confident that such decisions will allow to spend more time in protected areas and visit not very well-known places.
Dozens of routes that are not currently involved in the tourist flow, they are not even heard of, are white waterfalls, where the water, thanks to the saturation with silver, comes out white literally and after a few meters comes out transparent. It's a miracle. Kutkhins bats are limestone formations, said Solodov.
Earlier, the head of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov allowed the development of air traffic in the region by increasing the number of flights by planes instead of helicopters, which is more reliable, cheaper and safer. In updating the fleet will help the United Far Eastern airline "Aurora".
