“Quarantine greenhouses”: a restaurant in Amsterdam has developed a way to work during the pandemic

Restaurant Mediamatic Eten (Amsterdam) has rethinked its concept in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Now guests are treated in cozy isolated houses with transparent glass walls that resemble greenhouses and allow you to observe the distance according to all the rules of quarantine. That's CNN's story.

The restaurant's Instagram post reads: "Serres Sépparées, Separate Greenhouses, is one of our new concepts for the restaurant business." In this situation, it is difficult to open an institution with limited space. Therefore, we decided to expand and create a safe and cozy house so that partners can go out in their free time.”

The restaurant has five quarantine greenhouses that provide partial insulation. Staff wear gloves and protective shields, dishes are served on special boards so as not to disturb the distance.

Tables at Mediamatic Eten are booked until June 26.
