Cyprus opens entry to tourists with COVID-19 vaccines from May 10
Cyprus will be open to tourists fully vaccinated against COVID-19 coronavirus from May 10. This information is reported by the Cyprus News Agency, referring to the Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios.
Tourists vaccinated with Russian vaccines will also be able to come to the island of Cyprus.
From May 10, fully vaccinated people from 65 countries with which we have recently opened borders will be able to come to Cyprus without prior COVID-19 testing and without being under mandatory quarantine, even if they have had close contact with confirmed virus carriers.
The list of countries whose citizens are subject to such criteria includes EU member states, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the Middle East, Canada and the United States.
At the same time, until May 9, Cyprus has stepped up quarantine measures to reduce the mobility of citizens and reduce possible social contacts between people.
