China from September 15 introduces visa-free regime for Russians
The official representative of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of China Guo Jiakun said that since September 15, the authorities PRC introduce a visa-free regime for citizens of the Russian Federation holding an ordinary foreign passport for up to 30 days.
In order to further facilitate mutual travel of citizens of China and other countries, the Chinese side decided to expand the range of countries whose citizens have the right to visa-free entry. From September 15, 2025 to September 14, 2026, a trial visa-free policy will be in effect for Russian citizens with ordinary passports, he said at a briefing.
Russian citizens can enter China without a visa for business, tourism, visiting relatives or friends, as well as for exchange visits for up to 30 days.
