Changes in the rules of accommodation in hotels in Russia.
Russians inside the Russian Federation will be able to settle in hotels with a driver's license. The corresponding resolution was signed in the government, reports the channel “Izvestia”.
The innovation will come into force from January 1, 2026.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide a technical possibility for settling on a driver's license.
From the spring of 2025, tourists will be able to register at the hotel on a foreign passport.
