Ship at the site of the World Trade Center

On July 13 in New York during the cleaning of the territory of the World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the terrorist attack on September 11, archaeologists discovered part of the ship. The ship was found underground at a depth of 8 meters. Specialists who arrived at the excavation site had to work at a very busy pace, as the wood, which saw the light, began to deteriorate. It is not yet known what part of the ship was found and what the full length of the ship (the length of the found section reaches 10 meters). According to preliminary estimates, the ship lay underground for about two hundred years. Scientists believe that it was buried in order to increase Manhattan.
