Cuba opens to independent travelers

Cuba has opened the country to independent travelers.

From November 7, all tourists will be able to visit Liberty Island without mandatory quarantine. From November 15, 10 airports will open in the country, PCR tests on arrival will be canceled.

Russians can only come to Cuba as part of an organized group. In particular, the boards fly to Varadero and Cayo Coco. However, with the abolition of quarantine, it is likely that travelers will be able to purchase tickets to Havana and get to the resorts on their own, as before.

To visit Cuba, tourists over the age of 12 must present a vaccination certificate (Satellite V and other domestic vaccines are officially recognized by the country) or a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours. Vacationers must complete an electronic health questionnaire.
