In the summer of 2018, Crimea will reduce daily prices
Vadim Volchenko, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, said that prices for accommodation in hotels, sanatoriums and boarding houses of Crimea in the summer of 2018 may decrease.
In the summer of this year, there will be no reason for rising prices for accommodation, sometimes a noticeable decrease in price is possible. “Our ministry is now petitioning for a reduction in the size of the lease rate for land for sanatorium-resort and hotel facilities. At the moment, we can say that the administration of Alushta has already met with entrepreneurs and is ready to reduce the rental rate by 30%.”
The Minister believes that the change in the pricing policy of hoteliers of Crimea contributes to voluntary certification of accommodation facilities. The agency can support industry leaders by subsidizing the costs of getting stars.
Vadim Volchenko believes that the establishment of direct links between hoteliers and farmers, who will assume logistics costs, supplying products to hotels and boarding houses, can lead to lower prices. This mechanism was developed by the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea in 2018.
