The best hostels in the world received “Hoscars”
Every year, the Hostelworld website chooses the best hostels in the world based on tourist reviews.
In 2019, experts from the Internet community studied more than a million comments that users left to 36,000 hostels in more than 170 countries.
Hoskar received 310 accommodation facilities in 29 nominations.
The winner in the category “Best Hostel for Tourists Traveling Alone” was The Roadhouse in Prague (Czech Republic). Hostel owners call it a great place for travelers looking for friends. The night will cost 32 euros (2,400 rubles) per person.
We Love F. Tourists in Lisbon (Portugal) won the nomination “Best for single women”. You can spend the night for 40 euros (3,015 rubles).
Dalat Friendly Fun - Vietnamese hostel received the award for the best value for money. The bed in the common room will cost $ 5 (330 rubles). For this money, guests will receive free Wi-Fi, bathroom, breakfast and parking.
The Russian hostel Soul Kitchen in St. Petersburg received “Hoskar” in the nomination “Best Medium Hostel”. Soul Kitchen has separate rooms and shared rooms with bunk beds. Accommodation is suitable for singles, couples and families. The cost of living in common rooms starts from 595 rubles per person, in individual rooms - from 2000 rubles.
Other winners: Stay Hostel on the island of Rhodes in Greece (Best Staff), 5 Terre Backpackers in the Cinque Terre area of Italy (Best Atmosphere), Star Hostel Taipei Main Station in Taiwan (Best Large Hostel).
