Britain's best castle

Carr Hall Castle is an old residence built in 1860 in Yorkshire by the Shaw family. There was a farm there before. The castle, often compared to a Norman fortress, is located between Manchester and Leeds. Moreover, the territory is very picturesque: nearby there is a lake and a park where you can meet deer. Only about a dozen tourists will stay at Carr Hall. They are waiting for luxurious rooms, fitness center, sauna and swimming pool. This castle deservedly received the title of “Best House in the UK”, while not included in the list of 10 best castles in Europe. There is only one drawback - the price, which reaches 1500 pounds per night. A week of living in such a luxurious and wonderful place will cost 8000 pounds.
