Milan showed the middle finger
Sculptor Maurizio Cattelan (Maurizio Cattelan) presented his new scandalous work, which was recently installed in Milan on the market square opposite the building of the Italian stock exchange. The height of the marble sculpture reaches 4 meters and rises on a seven-meter pedestal. The official name of the sculpture is Love (L.O.V.E.), but the author notes that “everyone can read between the lines.” The monument was conceived and made especially for Milan and donated to the administration, which immediately rejected it. Of course, the town hall seemed a dubious gesture, depicted by the sculptor - the hand is clenched into a fist and the middle finger is bent.
