The head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov reports that his department is preparing proposals for the resumption of flights to the Arab Republic. It is about opening Cairo.
Maxim Sokolov said that the mutual interests of the two sides, Egypt and Russia, will depend on whether the flights will become charter or regular. Flight formats will depend on the airlines.
The issue of resuming flights to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada is still open. Experts from Russia will again conduct inspections at the airports of resorts. However, the relevant proposal from Egypt has not yet been received.
