What do independent Russian tourists save on?
Online booking service Biletix conducted a survey of more than two thousand independent tourists from Russia and came to the conclusion that most of them can revise their habits due to savings.
Travelers are not ready to completely abandon travel due to rising prices for travel services and products, but plan to book tickets and hotels in advance. This is the most common answer to the question of reaction to rising prices.
43.9% of respondents do not exclude that they will transfer to low-cost airlines and fly more often on flights with transfers, and 36.7% will live in hotels of lower star. 34.8% of respondents are willing to spend less on entertainment on vacation.
“Only 8.6% of tourists said that the rise in prices of basic travel services will not affect their plans,” the experts said.
Most of the respondents (20.4%) said that the most comfortable amount of spending per family member on trips is 20 to 30 thousand rubles.
“36.7% of respondents intend to travel more in 2019 than in the past, and 45.2% of respondents said they plan to travel with the same frequency as a year earlier,” the experts said. Only 5% of travelers plan to reduce the number of trips.”
22.6% of respondents said that they plan to increase the number of trips to Russia, 34.8% of tourists say about their plans.
