Millions of rubles are allocated for the development of domestic tourism
The Government of the Russian Federation intends to subsidize RUB 320 million to tourism operators engaged in domestic tourism. The corresponding document was published on the website of the Russian government on August 20, 2018.
Subsidies will be granted to companies that send travelers to priority destinations in Russia for at least one year. In the top of important regions were Altai, Karelia, Buryatia, Altai and Kamchatka regions, as well as Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Irkutsk, Sakhalin and Tyumen regions. The list was Krasnodar Krai with the exception of Sochi and only from January to May and from September to December.
Cash assistance per 1 tourist will be from 1.5 thousand to 5 thousand RUB.
