Biletix, the service for the purchase of tickets, reports that on average, booked for August round-trip tickets in Russia in the last three years is 10,681 rubles, which is 34% higher than the annual average of 7,938 rubles.
On international flights, the situation was the same. On average, a flight in August abroad will cost 18,169 rubles, which is 14% higher than the average for the whole year (15,879 rubles).
In the velvet season, air tickets become more affordable, and in most of the most popular resorts, comfortable air and water temperatures remain.
In domestic directions, the average price of round-trip tickets booked for August 2018 is 11,074 years, in September - 10,172 rubles, that is, 9% less. For foreign flights, the average price of a flight in both directions in August is 16,714 rubles, and in the future September - 16,011 rubles, which is 5% cheaper.
According to the analysis obtained, the most profitable flights on domestic routes can be bought in February, and abroad in November.
