On July 13, Kamel Abu-Ali, chairman of the Red Sea Tourism Investors Association, said that charter flights between Russia and Egyptian resorts would open in mid-August.
According to preliminary estimates, up to 300 thousand Russians will be able to relax on Egyptian resorts every month. Kamel Abu-Ali warned of a possible increase in prices for tours, as the demand for tours is high.
On July 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin canceled a 2015 decree banning charter flights to Egyptian resorts.
