Named the most popular countries of the former USSR among Russian tourists
Belarus. Georgia and Uzbekistan Leading in demand from Russian travelers. This autumn, sales of excursion tours to these destinations increased significantly, the press service of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT) reports, citing data from tour operators.
These three countries traditionally remain in the priority of the Russians – the demand for them grows annually. According to the cost of trips, it is most profitable to travel in Belarus: the average check is from 15 to 30 thousand rubles per person. In Georgia - from 25 to 40 thousand rubles, and in Uzbekistan - even more expensive, from 40 to 55 thousand rubles.
In addition to exploring cultural and natural attractions, there is growing interest in gastronomic and wine tours, as well as active recreation. For example, Russians often come to Georgia to get acquainted with winemaking, and in Uzbekistan to try various types of pilaf.
