German airline to dress workers in Oktoberfest costumes
In honor of the upcoming Oktoberfest, which will take place this weekend in Munich, the national airline of Germany will change its stewards and flight attendants into traditional costumes for the festival.
For ten years, Lufthansa has been paying attention to the German Beer Festival, which this year runs from September 17 to October 3. 11 flight attendants and two stewards will appear in traditional costumes on some flights departing Munich.
In Europe, the dirndle crew will serve Lufthansa Cityline flights to Nice, Belgrade, Birmingham, Cluj-Napoca, Olbia and Zilta at the beginning and end of the festival.
This year, as in the previous two years, the design of the traditional suit for the flight crew of the company was developed by the fashion house Angermaier. The style changes every year, but the colors remain the same – this is the traditional Lufthansa tricolor: yellow, blue, white.
