German boy finds ancient Egyptian mummy in his grandmother's attic

Ten-year-old German boy climbed into the attic of his family home and found strange old boxes. Relatives were not interested in these things and they were not interested in what was inside. When the relatives opened one of the boxes, they found a real Egyptian mummy! In the remaining boxes, a death mask and the insides of the deceased were found.

According to the Kettler family, the relics could have been brought to Saxony by the father of the head of the family, who died 12 years ago. In the 50s of the twentieth century, he traveled to North Africa, where he could get such “souvenirs”. Being a man of few words, Wolfgang Lutz Kettler did not tell his relatives about his wanderings, so the boxes left in the attic did not attract the attention of relatives. To declare the authenticity of the mummy is too early, as the relics may well be fakes. The final verdict will be established after the examination of the finds by archaeologists.
