On the territory in front of the Main Fairhouse there is a skating rink, a carousel, the residence of Santa Claus, street cafes, workshops, shopping pavilions.
Comprehensive improvement of the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair took place on the anniversary of the city in the framework of the program "Wednesday 800". Funds for improvement were allocated by the United Metallurgical Company (JSC OMK), its symbols are on the territory of the fair.
One of the unusual elements of improvement was a real wood stove.
On the first day of the fairground, an ice show was staged by Ilya Averbukh with the participation of leading Russian skaters.
From December 25, the street skating rink at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair will work until March 13. Also on this day will open the New Year residence of Santa Claus, which will work until January 9.
Visiting the residence is free of charge: by pre-registration in the quest format for 20 minutes or in the free visit mode. The composition of the group is no more than 30 people.
The mode of access to the Nizhny Novgorod Fair by QR code or "Multipass" will be valid on the night of December 31 to January 1. On other days, the entrance to the main site of the New Year's Capital and the rink will be free.
