Rosturizm invited tour operators and accommodation facilities to participate in a new stage of the tourist cashback program.
Earlier, the department said that the next sale of tours in Russia will begin before the end of the year, and you can go on a trip from January 15 to the end of April.
In the letter sent by the agency to potential participants of the program, they are invited to conduct technical preparations for the launch of a new stage, within which it is necessary to make a test transaction, and sign a contract with NSPK JSC (MIR payment system) by December 17, through which transactions will be carried out when buying tours and accommodation in hotels.
The head of Rosturizm Zarina Doguzova promised that a new stage of the sale of tours with cashback will begin before the end of the year. Trips can be purchased for the low winter season from January 15 to the end of April. She also stressed that the purpose of the program is to load accommodation facilities and increase tourist flow to the regions in the low season, excluding summer and New Year holidays.
The program of partial refund when buying tours in Russia started in 2020. In 2020 and 2021, under the tourist cashback program, tours and accommodation were bought for about 32.4 billion rubles. Cashback amounted to about 6.15 billion rubles.
