Determined the most budget months for travel
Specialists of the online booking service Booking were able to calculate in which months of high season Russians have the opportunity to save up to 50% on housing around the world.
For example, in December, tourists can save 24% on a trip to Brazil, the city of Rio de Janeiro, compared with the most expensive month for this city – January.
In New Zealand, the city of Auckland is profitable to go in October: housing will cost 15% cheaper than in March - the most popular month.
From the Northern Hemisphere, experts called Miami Beach (USA), where people will be able to save 42% in September, and St. Petersburg, where accommodation will cost 49% cheaper in April compared to the most expensive month – June.
The budget month was calculated based on the results of comparing the cost of housing in the high season. For the Southern Hemisphere this period is October - March, for the Northern - April - September. The basis for the calculations was taken 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels.
In May, experts prepared the top of the cheapest summer resorts for Russians, were taken as a basis for spending on flights, housing and on-site expenses for two weeks of vacation for two adults who live in an inexpensive hotel or rent an apartment, eat in cafes and sometimes in restaurants, go to interesting places themselves.
In the top, the first place was taken by the coast of the Azov Sea with an average tour budget of $1,230 for two.
