Autumn Cyprus: prices and conditions of entry
Cyprus is the southernmost island of the Eastern Mediterranean, the beach season opens in mid-April and ends in mid-November.
Some budget hotels in Cyprus already offer discounts of up to 38% of summer prices.
In the second half of September, prices for weekly package tours to 3* hotels start from 40,900 rubles per person (flight, transfer, 7 nights with breakfast, medical insurance).
Similar in terms of September tours to the hotel 4 * - from 46 400 rubles per person, to the hotel 5 * - from 70 600 rubles per person.
For October, prices are lower: a week with a flight, transfer, “breakfast” as a quality hotel 3* in Cyprus (the same hotels were taken for the sample as in September) will cost from 39 600 rubles per person. The same tours in October to hotels in Cyprus 4* and 5* – from 44,500 rubles and 69,802 rubles per person.
Russians are waiting in Cyprus in the autumn and hope for good sales. It is estimated that their share is about a third of all foreigners on the island.
According to the classification system of Cyprus, Russia is now included in the so-called “red zone”, from which travel for tourist purposes is allowed.
For a visit, you must obtain a pro-visa (free of charge, issued online). The tourist’s passport for obtaining a pro-visa at the end of the trip must be valid for at least another 6 months.
Entry to Cyprus is allowed for unvaccinated against COVID-19, and for vaccinated Russians.
For the unvaccinated, you need a certificate in English with a negative PCR test result for COVID-19. A second arrival PCR test for the unvaccinated is mandatory.
Children under 12 do not need tests.
Vaccinated Russians do not need tests, a certificate of vaccination with a QR code, in English and foreign passport data is enough.
Cyprus has recognized only one Russian vaccine, Sputnik V.
All passengers (both vaccinated and unvaccinated) must complete the CyprusFlightPass online form no earlier than 48 hours before departure.
