Russian hotel wins five World Travel Awards nominations
Hotel Mriya Resort & Spa - a premium-class resort on the Crimean Peninsula, was able to win in five categories at once in one of the most significant awards in the field of tourist services World Travel Awards. The award ceremony took place on June 30 in Athens.
The five-star complex has earned the titles “Leading European Recreation Resort 2018”, “Leading European Premium Family Resort 2018”, “Leading European Event Complex 2018”, “Leading Russian Hotel Management Company”, “Leading New European Tourism Development Project”.
The Mriya Resort & Spa complex includes a 5* hotel, medical and spa centers of international level, a modern congress center. The hotel is located in Yalta, s. The landslide was designed by Sir Norman Foster, a respected British architect. The complex opened in August 2014.
Aviation company Aeroflot was able to become another winner from the Russian Federation “World Travel Awards”, it won in three nominations: “Leading aviation brand of Europe”, “Europe Airline with the best business class” and “Best airline in Europe for traveling to Asia”.
Other Russian winners in different nominations: Swissôtel Red Hills (Moscow), Radisson Hotel (St. Petersburg), Committee for Tourism Development of the Northern Capital and others.
