The hotel in the form of a mammoth will be built on the shore of Lake Baikal. This information was conveyed by the acting head of Buryatia Alexei Tsydenov.
Officials report that travelers are interested not only in hotels, tourists are curious about the local flavor. We recently presented in Moscow the project of our sculptor Dasha Namdakov – a large building made in the form of a mammoth. It is planned to build it on the shore of the lake, Alexei Tsydenov said in an interview with TASS.
It has already been decided that this will be a grandiose, unusual building with an ethno-historical color: the height of one tusk is 100 meters, in the head – rooms and conference rooms.
“I hope that if the idea is implemented and the mammoth appears on the shores of Lake Baikal, after some time it will become a business card, a brand of the republic, it will be associated with the region,” said Alexey Tsydenov.
